                       POSTER MAKING COMPETITION

               ‘The world of Imagination is Boundless’

DAV Police Public School organised a poster making competition for the students of 6^th and 7^th standard on 13 November 2019. The objective of the competition was to ignite the fire of imagination and creativity in the students and to check their creative and artistic skills. The theme of the competition was Women Empowerment. This theme was better endorsed through this competition. The judges for the competition were Mr. Dalip, Ms. Usha and Ms. Rajni. Students were asked to express their ideas through paintings and sketches. The budding Picassos and junior artists showcased their perception about women empowerment and also displayed their artistic skills through an array of posters. Total 50 students of our school participated in the competition with immense zeal, gusto and enthusiasm and made fascinating and striking posters touching on issue of empowering the women and providing them equal opportunities for their betterment. The total time allotted for the activity was 1 hour.  It was a great opportunity to watch these young minds creating and displaying their ideas on paper. The white sheets were swarmed with remarkable pictures of women. Prachi, Simran, Nikita (7^th standard)  and Harshita, Helen, Prashasti and Nishita (6^thstandard) bagged special positions. The decision regarding the winners was made on the basis of following criteria:

·       Relevance to the theme

·       Accuracy and clarity of the theme

·       Neatness and Overall presentation. ( It was really an interesting session for all the artists who enjoyed thoroughly.)
