PAUDHGIRI CAMPAIGN
 DAV Police Public School organized PAUDHGIRI Campaign from 4 September 2019 to 10 October 2019 with great enthusiasm to initiate the green canopy in our surroundings. This campaign was an initiative by Haryana Government to increase the green cover in Haryana. The government distributed the saplings of various plants to schools in order to motivate the students to nurture the plants and ensure that it grows into a tree. The principal of our school inagurated the campaign by planting Chandni sapling and gave message to students to enhance the green environment in our surroundings for betterment. She gave an influential speech on the environment issues, effects of global warming, importance of trees and need to protect them. Following her instructions the campaign was further proceed by Eco Club students under the supervision of Eco Club Incharge. Students of class 6th to 12th  participated enthusiastically in this campaign. They planted various saplings under the guidance of teachers and gardeners, including Marigold, Emilia, Kachnar, Amla, Imli, Caner, Toon, Arjun, Lantana, Belpatra etc. These saplings were provided by Binjhol Nursery and Rotary Club of Panipat. Every step of the program was appreciated by Principal ma’am and Supervisory Heads. This program created a great stir in the hearts of everyone. It was really a great success.
